Photography by Vicky Pink - On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand in Washington, D.C. for a fundraiser for Sylvester Turner. With their friendship and finances many gathered to show their support of Sylvester Turner’s campaign to be Houston’s next mayor. Turner held the fundraiser during the time supporters were gathered in the Nation’s Capitol for the Congressional Black Caucus. Some in attendance were Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Senator Rodney Ellis, Phyllis Bailey, Carl Davis, and Harry Johnson.
