Photography by Vicky Pink - On Sunday, September 27, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Ayva Center for the 10 year anniversary gala for the Refreshing Church. The church started in 2005 at the home of Pastor John A. Murray, III and now has grown to have its own sanctuary located at 14300 NW Freeway, Houston, TX 77040. A grand gala was held to commemorate the church’s ten years of ministry featuring Grammy nominee Vickie Winans and the church’s pastor, Gospel Saxophonist John A. Murray, III with the TRC band. The gala was well attended and all had an enjoyable time fellowshipping, eating great fun and have a Holy Ghost good time. The Refreshing Church is truly the place where the people of God are restored, renewed, revived, and refreshed!
