Photography by Vicky Pink - Phi Slama Jama, Texas’ Tallest Fraternity, reinvented the game of basketball with their “above the rim” style of dunking. Under the famed Coach Guy V. Lewis, Phi Slama Jama took University of Houston Cougar ball to heights unseen that pervades college basketball to the present day. During Final Four weekend, the original members reunited at a private reception. Lucky fans in attendance had the opportunity to meet and greet Reid Gettys, Eric Dickens, Alvin Franklin, David Rose, Derek Giles, Renaldo Thomas, Benny Anders, Gary Orsak, Larry Micheaux, Dan Bunce, Akeem Olajuwon, David Bunce, Clyde Drexler, Greg Anderson, Rickie Winslow, and Michael Young.
