Photography by Vicky Pink - In commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Buffalo Soldiers, the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum and 9th & 10th (Horse) Cavalry hosted the Buffalo Soldiers 9th & 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association Sesquicentennial Reunion. The special affair was the culminating activity to the weeklong celebration of the 150th anniversary. Frank Jackson, known lover of history, was the event’ keynote speaker. The reunion was a moving night as awards were given, charter presented, and some members gained life membership status. Some in attendance Trooper Bobby McDonald, Marion Breedlove, Bishop Corey S. Wilson, Trooper Cleveland Burrell, Frank Jackson, Trooper Willie Edley, Jr., Trooper Isaac Prentice, Trooper Frank Bell, Trooper Franklin Henderson, Trooper Fred Gray, and Trooper Cleveland Burrell.
