Photography by Vicky Pink - In recognition of National Immunization Awareness Month, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee hosted Immunization Sunday for Houston area students. Joining Congresswoman Jackson Lee was Houston ISD Trustee Rhonda Skillern-Jones and Texas Children’s Hospital to provide free immunizations to get them ready to go back-to-school. Students also got to enjoy face painting and meeting Trae the Truth. “Ensuring that your child is protected from diseases is important, and certain immunizations are required for the school year,” stated Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.
