Photography by Vicky Pink - Former Vice President Al Gore recently visited Houston for the Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training. He led the training for hundreds of new Climate Reality leaders. The training will focus on climate issues specific to Texas, the political and social conversation around renewable energy deployment, and the role of fossil fuel companies in climate denial efforts. Gore is the Founder and Chairman of The Climate Reality Project. Also presenting at the training was The Climate Project President Ken Berlin, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Dr. Robert Bullard Dean, Katharine Hayhoe, Jeff Wolfe, James Cargas, Jeffrey Clark, Lucía Oliva Hennelly, James Hoggan, Dr. Joseph Romm, and Carroll Muffett.
