Photography by Vicky Pink - Students are equipped with the supplies they need to get the right start in school once again this year thanks to the ladies of the Xi Alpha Omega and Sigma Theta Chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The ladies of pink and green hosted the 21st annual Tools 4 School Back to School Drive where they gave away 1,000 backpacks with school supplies for students in grades K through 12 as well as offered free physicals, haircuts, uniform vouchers, library cards, health screenings, dental screenings, insurance information, tutoring services and gift cards. In addition, children were able to enjoy refreshments, moonwalk, live. Some in attendance were Linda Knight Burkley, Dontee Lewis, Donielle Lewis, Yvonne Phillips-Dupree, Christina Moore, Sonja Kirkland, Alicia Cain, Chelsea Ford, and Tondelyn Johnson.
