Photography by Vicky Pink - Students filed into the Northeast Multi-Service Center for a fun filled day that was focused on them being prepared to head back-to-school. G.L.O.W. MC, Glass Slipper Foundation and Houston City Council Member Jerry Davis partnered to host the Back 2 School Community Fun Day. Students were given free school supplies and eight students won $250 scholarships for clothes. A plethora of sponsors and vendors were on hand to offer other free services from dental to physicals to any and everything to get students ready for the 2016-2017 school year.
