Photography by Vicky Pink - The City of Houston’s Office of Business Opportunity Advisory Board presented the 4th Annual Champions of Diversity Awards Ceremony. This year’s theme was “Celebrating Economic Diversity - Going for The Gold.” Mayor Sylvester Turner was the Honorary Host of the event that honors prime contractors, as well as Minority, Women, Small, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MWDBEs) for their outstanding performances on City of Houston contracts. Rekha Muddaraj emceed the event that was also attended by The Honorable Gene L. Locke, United States Marine Corps JROTC, Alexandra Henderson, Pastor Byron Stevenson, David Mincberg, Carlecia D. Wright, and Alicia B. Jimerson.
