Photography by Vicky Pink - Around this time every year Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee takes off her political for a Santa hat to bring joy and cheer to the children of Houston with her annual Toys for the Kids event. Now in its 22nd year, Congresswoman Lee has served almost 130,000 children over the years. World Youth Foundation, Inc. again partnered with Congresswoman Lee to host the Christmas event. Children bring home toys that volunteers have wrapped and donated. Some in attendance were Mayor Sylvester Turner, First Daughter Ashley Turner, Chauncey Glover, Dr. Elwyn Lee, Erica Lee Carter, Jason Lee, Houston City Council member Karla Cisneros, State Rep. Ron Reynolds, Dr. Jonita Reynolds, and Trae tha Truth.
