Photography by Vicky Pink - Mayor Sylvester Turner hosted his first Media & Friends Holiday Christmas Party as the Mayor of Houston. Annually the current mayor invites members of the media for a relaxing night out of networking, food, and fun. Mayor Turner thanked the media for their support and coverage of the city and looked forward to furthering their relationship in 2017. Some in attendance were Houston’s First Daughter Ashley Turner, Miya Shay, Karen Carter, Kim Gange, Khambrel Marshall, Darian Ward, Cindy George, and Houston City Council members Karla Cisneros, Amanda Edwards and Jack Chrisite.
