Photography by Vicky Pink - The stars were bright at Eleanor Tinsley and Sam Houston Parks for Houston’s official Fourth of July celebration, US Family Health Plan Freedom Over Texas. Country tunes set the stage for Houston’s signature patriotic celebration featuring former Hootie & the Blowfish lead-singer-turned-solo-country-artist Darius Rucker. Texas natives the Eli Young Band, and Brooke Eden joined Rucker on the main stage. The evening finished with a spectacular display of fireworks presented by CITGO.
