Photography by Roswitha Vogler - Comcast is showing that they believe in the next generation by awarding a total of $63,000 in scholarships. Some of those lucky enough to receive those financial blessings were 59 Houston-area students at Comcast NBC Universal’s annual Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program. Each student received a $1,000 scholarship based on their commitment to their communities, involvement in school and being a role model to their peers. One student received an additional scholarship of $4,000 in honor of the founder of Comcast Corporation.
