Photography by Vicky Pink - It was a special night for brothers Horace W. Grays and Charles E. Grays. An endowed scholarship in the amount of $20,000 in honor of the two was presented on behalf of the Board of Directors, Education & Charities Foundation of Houston (ECFOH) at the annual Houston Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Black & White Ball. The Grays Scholarship for Excellence in Community Service is in recognition of the brothers' history and legacy in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. that begun when they were first initiated into the Beta Upsilon Chapter at Texas Southern University. Another highlight of the night was the recognition of seventeen brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. that have been members of the fraternity for 50+ years. Fraternity brothers also made it a grand night for Delano Christian Young and Darius Jeleel Willikams who received scholarships from the brothers. Some in attendance were Karen Grays, Mattelia B. Grays, Shannon Broussard, Ronald Lockett, Robert Gatlin, Bailey Davis, Shannon Davis, Grand Board Member Ron Julun, ECFOH Board President Michael Adkinson and Houston Chapter President Bennie Childs III.
