Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, March 5, 2016, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum for the Sweet 16 Celebration Honoring Past, Present and Future Women Leaders. The 2016 honorees were Audrey Lawson, Mary Marks Guillory, Col Marilyn Johnson, Margie Bosarge, Karen Carter Richards, Theresa Roemer, CleRenda McGrady, Mia Wright, Dr. Lason Hines, Jade Simmons, Jacquelyn Alutto, Ashley Turner, Deavra Dauhtry, Carla Lane, Maria Rios, April Day, Kamryn Johnson, and Saniya-Symone Scott. Damali Keith and Kim Roxie served as emcees of the event that also showcased entertainment by Freje Randall, Jade Simmons, Melissa Waddy-Thibodeaux, and Jalene Mack.
