Photography by Vicky Pink - On Tuesday, March 8, 2016, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Lucy’s Ethiopian Restaurant for the surprise party for Val Thompson. Family and friends gathered to wish Val a Happy 65th Birthday. Some in attendance were State Rep. Senfronia Thompson, Judge Bill Littlejohn, Denise Adjei, Nikki Benjamin, Suzanni Lucy, Sonia Gumbellot, and Jenese Thompson.
