Photography by Vicky Pink - Texas Southern University Museum is raising the level of art appreciation for some known and little-known designers from across the country with their upcoming gala “For the Sake of Art.” A small private kickoff party was held in anticipation for the gala where the winners of 4 designers from the 2014 gala were displayed. Houston Style Magazine was also able to see the Baucus Collection that was on display, plus a raffle of two Hermes silk scarves designed by Kermit Oliver were given away. Some in attendance were Dr. Docia Rudley, Melanie Lawson, Winell Herron, Roslyn Bazelle, Joy Sewing, Judson Robinson, Susan Bynum, and Andrea Bonner.
