Photography by Vicky Pink - It was a night of fashion and scholarship at the Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation of Houston Honoree Reception. The annual affair is the kick-off to the foundation's scholarship luncheon and fashion show where they raised dollars to award scholarships to high school and college students. Roger Harris, Clara Cooper, Dr. Karen Hill, Rabeea Collier, Dr. Jean Morency, Jakki Wiley, Dr. Melanie Johnson, Victor Mitchell, Amanda Edwards and Amy Pierce were announced as this year’s honorees. Guests enjoyed light bites, fashions by Dillard’s and exciting door prizes. Some in attendance were Thedrial Jackson, Nedra Washington, Amber Menzie, Dr. Umekei Smith, Demetra Jones, Piere Mitchell, Joyce Jacquet, Tishana Washington, Nancy Perry, Tamika White, Millie Mitchell, Rhonda Keith, and Marla Angibeau.
