Photography by Vicky Pink - United Airlines expanded their facility with the construction of the new United Airlines Technical Operations Center. The new center will bring 200 new jobs to Bush Intercontinental Airport. The $162 million project will be the home for wide-body planes in need of extra care. Mayor Sylvester Turner, Pete Garcia, Rhonda Arnold, Mario Diaz, Darian Ward, City Councilman Dave Martin, and Cindy Clifford were among those in attendance at the official groundbreaking ceremony.
