Photography by Vicky Pink - The Greater Houston Partnership with the Super Bowl Houston Committee kicked off its game plan to welcome fans, visitors and the world to the nation’s fourth largest city for Super Bowl LI. The official launch of Houston Field Notes, customized messages about Houston’s attributes, and #TeamHouston, a local pride in place social media campaign, marked 100 days until the big game comes to town. Houston Texans President and Partnership Chair Jamey Rootes emceed an evening of live art demos from Touchdown Tour Artists Shelbi Nicole and Ted Castillo; entertainment by Infinity's Twin Band; special celebrity guests; and bites and beverages. The Houston Super Bowl Host Committee and the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau teamed up with the Partnership to host the event. Some in attendance were Ric Campo, Sallie Sargent, and Mike Waterman.
