Photography by Vicky Pink - The Red Pump Project put a sweet spin on sexual education as they hosted their signature Cupcakes and Condoms event. The traveling educational town hall connected women and girls with information in a relaxed setting. Attendees were treated to complimentary desserts while engaging in dialogue designed to foster healthy intimate relationships and promote positive choices to aid in the prevention of HIV and STIs. Offering information was a distinguished panel comprised of Dr. Jeffeea N. Gullett, Venita Ray, and Dena Gray Hughes. Jillian “JJ” Simmons was the emcee while Joe Lee McCoy provided entertainment. The goal of Cupcakes and Condoms is to create a space that encourages women to ask questions, to actively seek knowledge and to enjoy each other. Others in attendance were Skyy Banks and Goody Howard.
