Photography by Semetra Samuel - Mexican Independence was celebrated with the kick off of the Mezcal y Arte Oaxaqueño Art Exhibition at the Mexican Consulate. Authentic Mexican folk art from the Oaxaca region was on display celebrating all things Mexico. VIP guests enjoyed a special Zignum Mixologist Experience, hobnobbing with Mexican artists, a ribbon cutting to welcome the incredible art exhibit to the City of Houston, delicious traditional hors d’oeuvres and the best mezcal cocktails the city has to offer. The lively affair was hosted by 101 Art Galleries, together with el Consulado General de Mexico en Houston, AMEXCID, Zignum Mezcal, and the Omni Hotels and Resorts. Mezcal y Arte Oaxaqueño Art Exhibition will be on display until October 14th.
