The extensive, hands-on mentoring program and federally approved non-profit 501©(3) organization that was created to groom inner-city teenage boys into upstanding and accomplished gentleman was created by award winning reporter and anchor Chauncy Glover. During this inaugural Houston year for CGP, Glover is mentoring men from Wheatley High School, Navarro Middle School, Fleming Middle School, and Foster Elementary School. Over the summer, the young men in the program were exposed to college readiness, study skills, etiquette, and more as they prepare to return back-to-school. The partnership helps the men learn about professionalism and the importance of higher education. Some helping with the camp were Houston City Councilman Dwight Boykins and Constable Alan Rosen.
