Congressman Al Green Health Fair
Photography by Vicky Pink - Congressman Al Green partnered with Community Health Choice and HISD for the Green Light to Healthy Living Health Fair. Free was the word of the day as attendees could take advantage of free immunizations, flu shots, dental screenings, mobility screenings, and health screenings. In addition, there were reps to help with WIC registration and give information on Medicaid and CHIP. There was even a drawing for free bikes and other prizes. Plus, 200 kids got free backpacks filled with school supplies. It was the perfect way to jumpstart the new school year.
