Photography by Vicky Pink - The Houston International Trade Development Council, Inc. and Houston City Council Member Larry Green will lead a delegation of community leaders on an educational mission to Cuba. Havana, the largest city in the Caribbean, is one of the most culturally rich city center across the globe. Old Havana has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage as it is the seat of the Presidential Palace and to more than 900 historical and cultural landmarks. The luncheon was a briefing of expectations before they departed. Some in attendance were Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Houston ISD Trustee Rhonda Skillern Jones, Houston City Councilman Dwight Boykins, and Judge Zinetta Burney.
