Women’s NCAA Basketball Game TSU vs. Baylor
Photography by Vicky Pink - Texas Southern University Lady Tigers ended their dream season against the Baylor Bears over the weekend. The #16 Lady Tigers loss 119-30 to the #1 Lady Bears during the first round of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament. During their first even game in the NCAA Tournament, the Lady Tigers gave a great showing. Joyce Kennerson led TSU with 19 points and three assists. Kaitlyn Palmer added eight points. Kennerson, an All-SWAC First Team selection and the Most Valuable Player at the Toyota SWAC Tournament, raised her career points total to 893 at the end of her sophomore season.
