Real Men Who Cook
Photography by Vicky Pink - Phenomenal Pearls Educational & Charitable Foundation and 100 Black Men – Metropolitan Houston brought awareness to World Hunger and emphasized healthy eating with Real Men Who Cook. The event provided the opportunity for men and companies to cook their best dish to serve to attendees. Funds raised will benefit high school students in the greater Houston area to pursue a college education in addition to funding community programs based in Health, mentoring, globalization, environmental ownership and family strengthening. Additionally, a portion of the funds will be reserved to assist Hurricane Harvey victims. Top honors in the various cooking competitions went to Kevin Mason, Etchane Catering, Counte Small Trio Dessert, Xavyance Handfield, and Rodney Houston.
