TSU Accepts Check From SORM for Hurricane Damage Repair
Texas Southern University (TSU) was not spared from the wrath of Hurricane Harvey and sustained approximately $1 million in damages. Thanks to the State Office of Risk Management (SORM) TSU now has some funds to restore the campus. President Austin Lane along with university officials accepted a $500,000 check from SORM. The funds are proceeds from SORM’s Statewide Insurance Program.
