Emancipation Park Executive Director Reception
Photography by Vicky Pink - The Emancipation Park Conservancy rolled out the pink carpet for their first executive director Lucy J. Bremond at a festive reception. Bremond, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience, will oversee the restoration of the historic park in her new role. Mayor Sylvester Turner was on hand to give remarks. The reception was held in her honor to start her off on the right track and celebrate her selection after a national search. Some in attendance were Linda Jones, James Koski, Susanne Theis, Judge Zinetta Burney, Judson Robinson, Georgia Provost, Wayne Luckett, Chris Spellman, Gladys Goffney, Charlotte Bryant, Bobbie Jones, P.K. Misher, Dr. Reagan Flowers, Karen Aubrey, Sydna Paul, Cheryl Mitchell, Connie Stewart, Thelma Johnson, Lisa Price, Julia Nelson, and Karen Harvey.
