Twelve Days of Christmas Inc Houston Chapter Legacy Tea
Photography by Vicky Pink - Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. celebrates the spirit of charitable giving that Christmas brings about. Members believe that spirit should go beyond December 25. With that as their goal they unselfishly share their blessings through community involvement and other activities. Their annual legacy tea honors individuals that promote that generosity and service through generations. Event Honorary Chairs were mother and daughter, Dr. Yvonne Cormier and Claire Cormier Thielke. Dr. Rhea Lawson, Executive Director of Houston Public Libraries, was the keynote speaker. All proceeds from the tea will benefit the Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. families and R.E.A.D. Reaching for Empowerment Achievements and Discovery through reading and focuses on at-risk youth.
