Photography by Vicky Pink - The smell of good food once again filled the George R. Brown Convention Center for the 40th Annual Super Feast on Thanksgiving Day. Thousands of Houstonians filled their bellies with turkey and all the trimmings provided by the Citywide Club. The annual holiday affair that caters to the homeless also allows the attendees to get clothes and take advantage of other services. Some in attendance included Mayor Sylvester Turner, Bun B, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, First Daughter Ashley Turner, Houston Fire Department Chief Samuel Pena, Houston City Council members Jack Christie and Amanda Edwards, and a host of volunteers.
