HAUL Voter Justice Hearing
Photography by Vicky Pink - The National Commission for Voter Justice and HAUL called on all students, seniors, community organizers, churches and others to let them know about any problems that they had with voting in the last election. The two organizations are trying to get ahead of problems concerning voter suppression, intimidation, disenfranchisement, id, restoration for returning citizens, machines, provisional ballot misuse, disability access, bilingual assistance, high school and college registration, and difficulties with the homeless wanting to vote. They don’t want anything standing in the way of voters for this upcoming election. So they are making sure that voter are educated with information about their voter’s rights.
