Deborah Duncan emceed the annual affair that is a signature fundraiser for the organization. Proceeds help to fund their many programs and services for the community. Susan L. Taylor was the keynote speaker. Award-winning singer Brian Courtney Wilson and the Young Women's College Preparatory Academy Choir provided musical inspiration. State Rep. Ron Reynolds, Dr. Jonita Reynolds served as the event chairs. Some in attendance were Reva Witherspoon, Commissioner Aaron Demerson, Pastor Cynthia Skelton, C'Jheva Starling, Helen Stagg, Dr. Elwyn Lee, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, State Rep. Garnet Coleman, Laolu Davies, Regan Flowers, Anita Bates, Vanessa Reed, Stephen Williams, and Crystal Hadnott.
