Photography By Vicky Pink - Mayor Sylvester Turner declared March 11, 2020, Little Free Library Day at the Association of the Advancement of Mexican American’s Little Free Library book-sharing box Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. In 2009, the first Little Free Library book-sharing was created. The Little Free Library nonprofit organization was established in 2012. The world’s 100,000 registered Little Free Library book-sharing box was created on March 11, 2020, and will be donated to the Association of the AAMA in Houston. This book-sharing box provides greater book access for local residents and champion literacy through book exchange.
