2024 HAUL - Advancing Equity Luncheon
Houston Area Urban League recently hosted their 2024 Advancing Equity Luncheon: "Houston is Ready for the Future of Equity and Opportunity" on June 22nd. The theme highlighted the pressing need to address disparities in education, housing, workforce, energy, and health equity within the Houston community. The luncheon showcased an impressive panel of speakers who are leaders in their respective fields, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion for advancing equity: - LaTanya Flix, Senior Vice President of Inclusive Leadership and Opportunity for the Greater Houston Partnership - Tony Roach, Senior Vice President & Chief Customer Officer at Southwest Airlines - Mario Castillo, Chancellor of Lone Star College System - Courtney J.
