The Richmond Heights 49ers Documentary Trailer
Based on the book, Images of America: Miami’s Richmond Heights by co-authors Patricia Harper Garrett and The Historic Society’s Founder & Executive Director, Jessica Garrett Modkins, the documentary explores the lives of early settlers in detail and the rationale of the white developer Captain Frank C. Martin who perpetuated social change during Jim Crow. Martin made a bold and unpopular decision in 1949 to build a self-contained community for Black World War II veterans. The documentary will feature intimate conversations with the community’s pioneering residents in an effort to understand their experiences firsthand, and delve into Captain Frank C. Martin’s mindset behind his desire to build homes specifically designed for Black World War II veterans. The film will also take a closer look at the socioeconomic fabric of this time, segregation, and civil rights.

Cotrona (“G.I. Joe: Retaliation”) as Super Hero Pedro; Grace Caroline Currey (“Annabelle: Creation”) as Mary Bromfield / Super Hero Mary; Faithe Herman (“This Is Us”) as Darla Dudley; Ian Chen (“A Dog’s Journey”) as Eugene Choi; Jovan Armand (“Second Chances”) as Pedro Pena; Marta Milans (“White Lines”) as Rosa Vasquez; Cooper Andrews (“The Walking Dead”) as Victor Vasquez; with Djimon Hounsou (“A Quiet Place Part II”) as Wizard. Joining the cast are Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story”), with Lucy Liu (“Kung Fu Panda” franchise) and Helen Mirren (“F9: The Fast Saga”). The film is directed by David F. Sandberg (“Shazam!,” “Annabelle: Creation”) and produced by Peter Safran (“Aquaman,” “The Suicide Squad”). It is written by Henry Gayden (“Shazam!,” “There’s Someone Inside Your House”) and Chris Morgan (“Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” “The Fate of the Furious”), based on characters from DC; Shazam! was created by Bill Parker and C.C. Beck. Executive producers are Walter Hamada, Adam Schlagman, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Marcus Viscidi and Geoff Johns. Joining director Sandberg behind-the-camera are director of photography Gyula Pados (the “Jumanji” franchise), production designer Paul Kirby (“The Old Guard,” “Jason Bourne”) and editor Michel Aller (“Shazam!,” “The Nun”). The music supervisor is Season Kent (“DC League of Super-Pets,” “The Addams Family 2”) and the music is by Christophe Beck (“Free Guy,” “Frozen II”). Visual effects supervisors are Bruce Jones (“Aquaman,” “It”) and Raymond Chen (“Alita: Battle Angel,” “The Meg”). The costume designer is Louise Mingenbach (“Jumanji: The Next Level,” “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”). New Line Cinema presents A Peter Safran Production of A David F. Sandberg Film, “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” which is set to open in theaters internationally beginning 15 March 2023 and in North America on March 17, 2023.

This is Warner Bros. second trailer for Get Hard and it’s even funnier than the first. Opening with a nice throwback to early 90’s rap, we’re treated to a little of Dr. Dre’s "Still D.R.E." featuring Snoop Dogg as we get acquainted with our surroundings in a neighborhood that looks like it could be straight out of John Singleton’s 1991 film, Boyz n the Hood. After a few teases we see James King (Ferrell) in his already-infamous, insanely ridiculous, orange vested get-up. He is joined by Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart) as the two get called out by some of the neighborhood residents. "Hello," says Ferrell’s character in his trademark oblivious way. After getting a not-so-friendly response, he follows with, "I don’t think they’ve ever seen a white person before." We zip back to 30 days prior, where we learn what led James to his present circumstances. A millionaire hedge fund manager, he is sentenced to hard time in prison, after being convicted of corporate fraud. After he is given a stretch of 30 days to "get his affairs in order," he hires Darnell to teach him everything he needs to know to survive in prison. "I could pay you," Ferrell’s character pleads, ever so hilariously. Playing on James’ stereotypical assumptions that he has been to prison just because he’s black, Darnell, who in reality hasn’t even received so much as a parking ticket, accepts a cash offer to teach him how to "get hard".

Do You Remember The Time… At the Motown 25 event in 1983, Michael performed his hit ‘Billie Jean’. During the performance Jackson debuted perhaps his most famous move, the moonwalk, whilst wearing his now legendary single, white rhinestone glove. The performance was a roaring success, making the song and the look instantly legendary. Did you know? During the performance Michael threw his spangled black jacket to a fan in the audience, however someone stole the jacket from them. Seeing what had happened, Michael asked his bodyguards to retrieve the jacket and later returned it to the lucky fan backstage – what a guy!
