The Rose will host hundreds of Texans at their annual Shrimp Boil event. This celebration will focus on the women who have received life-saving care from The Rose and those who are currently battling breast cancer. Key sponsors will be in attendance, including volunteers from MD Anderson and American Credit Union.
The Shrimp Boil is The Rose’s longest and largest annual fundraiser. It has a backdrop similar to a family reunion and is populated by community members who have supported the organization for generations. Attendees will participate in live and silent auctions while feasting on plates of Shrimp with “all the fixin’s”, desserts and drinks. There will be a kids zone for the younger crowd, musical entertainment provided by The Slags and many more festive features.
The event was held on July 8, 2017 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center, 7902 Fairmont Pkwy., Pasadena, TX, 77507
This event is one of the most important dates for The Rose because it celebrates the lives of survivors and those who are still in the fight. The Shrimp Boil depends on attendees and volunteers who care about saving lives affected by breast cancer and honoring those who have been lost to the preventable disease.
