You Don’t Have the Answers

In life, questions constantly swirl our minds. Some we can answer but let’s face it most questions we really can’t answer. Who do we turn to when we have more questions than answers? Some look to a higher authority like parents, mentors, trusted confidants, and those with expertise. What if all those people were all gathered in one place just for you to give you the answers for which you search? The annual Answer Conference is that event that brings those with the knowledge and experience to answer life’s burning questions.
Hosted annually at Higher Dimension, Pastor Terrence J and First Lady J established the conference as an extension of their book, ‘The Answer.’ Calling on their celebrity friends, the Higher Dimension First Couple partnered with well renowned celebrities such as: Newlyweds Israel & Adrienne Houghton (The Real), Jordin Sparks, Kecia J, Robert Christopher Riley (Underground, Hit The Floor), Dondre Whitfield (Queen Sugar) and more gather to talk about family, relationships, dating, love, marriage, and more.
We caught up with the celebrities and got some amazing advice that they shared with this year’s conference attendees. Can some of this help you in your life? For full interviews, make sure you are subscribed to our YouTube channel: Youtube.com/Stylemagazine
Dondre Whitfield On: Being the Head of the Family
“The more I kept up with my studies [of the bible], my wife began to notice and also began to study. Men have a responsibility to take the lead in the family. It was meant to be that way. The family will begin to function in sync”.
Rob C. Riley On: Dating
“You have to make it priority to put that person first. Yielding is extremely important. Make sure whomever you get with they have your best interest in heart.”
Israel & Adrienne Houghton On: No Sex before Marriage
Adrienne: “I believe it was Einstein who said, “Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. So I decided to try something different. Waiting until marriage to have sex builds a real bond. Your relationship won’t be measured by that [sex]. It gives you a moment to build a real foundation which is friendship.”
Israel: “Yes and it also builds trust. If I can hold out while with you until we are married, then you won’t have any reason to doubt whenever we are apart that if temptation arise I won’t be able to pass that test.”
These celebrities gave the audience so much to think about. No one’s life is perfect, and what works for one may not work for another. However, maybe if we try a different workout, we might yield different results. Of course, the authors of the book ‘The Answer’ shared amazing gems that parents, wives, husbands, single, and those dating could apply to their life. Pastor J and First Lady J were so transparent in their book; the type of transparency that allows for others to see themselves. For more information, visit answerconference.com
