Senegalese-American singer/songwriter Moha Releases New Single "Lady"'

Evolving from roots spread across three continents, Senegalese-American artist Moha, draws inspiration from his time spent in Senegal, the US, and France to construct a sonic identity that defies genre constraints and cultural barriers. Within the past year, Moha has revealed pieces of his upcoming original artist project FIT, a full-length EP formulated in Moha's multi-instrumentation background combining organic instruments, production, and the singer's distinctive vocal chops. To date, project cuts including the critically acclaimed "A-Side" and "Cold Feet" have awarded Moha over 175K streams on Spotify alone.
Well-established in his previous singles, Moha is a master storyteller. Using his skills as a songwriter and vocalist, the music of Moha is most renowned for its ability to tap into the psyche of the listener and connect them to his own personal experiences. Today, fans are getting another glimpse into the world of Moha with brand new single titled "Lady." Opening with a downtempo feel, "Lady" is built a top a jazz-influenced sound attributed to a full band featuring horns, percussion, bass guitar, and more. Most striking about "Lady," as with most Moha singles, is Moha's expressive top-line whose heart wrenching lyrics and accented vocals solidify the single as one of Moha's most poignant ballads to date. Representing the third piece of the 'FIT' puzzle, a lyrical narrative that draws from Moha's experiences after leaving home at 14, the project will additionally feature two remaining original singles soon to be announced.
If unfamiliar with Moha before now, he recorded and released his first EP, 'Things Won’t Always Be The Same,' while working with a few major labels in Paris, and subsequently toured Europe and NYC. Aside from his original work, Moha's work with Jehro awarded him the prestigous Les Victories De La Musique award for songwriting in France.
