A photo of Harris County Constable candidate Ken Jones has resurfaced on the Internet causes a lot of controversy. Some residents are up in arms over the image because of its offensive nature due to the history of noose used in lynching and other acts of hate during the turbulent times of slavery. According to the Houston Press Jones has said that the photo of him with the noose that part of the display at the Fredericksburg Trade Days for Texas lawman Judge Roy Bean was taken as a prop for his warning to a Facebook hacker. However, residents are not buying it. He claims his opponent and current Constable Sherman Eagleton, a black man, is just making a big deal out of the situation.
