Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines that I enjoy on a regular basis. Since discovering the Uber Eats app, I have tried a few places that offer Pho, Vermicelli Bowls also known as V-Bowls, and Vietnamese egg rolls. The other day while surfing for something to order, I checked my favorites and noticed that I had placed 59 deliveries with Simply Viet. They are located at 10830 W. Belfort Blvd in Southwest Houston. From my history of orders, I can say that Simply Vet is simply delicious.

According to the Uber Eats website, Simply Viet “ is one of the 10 most ordered spots in all of Brays Oaks. Wondering what's the best thing on the menu? The fruit smoothies are one of the most ordered items among the 28 things on the menu and the char-grilled pork rice/vermicelli and the tea are two of the items most commonly ordered together.”

To state that their food is good, will not even begin to describe the delicious, flavor-packed, and well-portioned meals that I have experienced. The flavors are not limited to the food; they also serve fruit smoothies, iced coffees, and flavored green teas.

My most frequently ordered item is the Char-grilled pork rice bowl with a fried egg over medium, Vietnamese egg rolls, and fish sauce on the side.

In addition to that, I usually order the Strawberry Green Tea or a Strawberry/Pineapple smoothie. One of our co-workers frequently orders the Pork Banh Mi with a fried egg over easy.

The pork is savory, well-seasoned, and slightly smoky. It doesn't need the fish sauce, but I use a little of it anyway. Another great surprise about Simply Viet is the price, a V-Bowl is only $7.95, and if you add the egg it only costs a $1.00. The Sandwiches (Bahn Mi's) are only $4.99 with the option of adding on any additional items such as Avocado, a fried egg, or extra meat for a small charge.

There are others that share our love for this place, on a Facebook review, one person wrote: “Great and friendly service and amazing food. The bread for the banh mi was FRESH! I will definitely be coming back. “ Another guest posted this: “New place added to my list! The food is delicious and very fresh. Also, the customer service is great! Thank you guys!! “
