Comcast has announced the inclusion of Houston among five cities eligible for the esteemed Comcast RISE program, offering invaluable support to small businesses in Southeast Texas. With a commitment to fostering local economic resilience and community empowerment, Comcast RISE will allocate a substantial $500,000 in grants, alongside technology makeovers, marketing assistance, coaching sessions, and educational resources.

Each city will see 100 businesses selected to receive a comprehensive grant package, which includes:

1. Coaching Sessions: Tailored business assessments and coaching sessions offering strategic recommendations for business growth.

2. Education Resources: 12-month access to online entrepreneurship courses, learning modules, and resources catering to small business owners.

3. Monetary Grant: A $5,000 monetary grant to fuel business expansion and innovation.

4. Creative Production & Media: Professional production of a 30-second TV commercial, coupled with media strategy consultation and a 180-day media placement schedule.

5. Comcast Business Technology Makeover: Essential computer equipment, Internet, voice, and cybersecurity services for a duration of 12 months.
