Yet, their job is not without its perils, as highlighted by statistics indicating that working as a line worker ranks among the 20 most dangerous occupations in America. Despite the inherent risks, these skilled professionals continue to uphold the highest standards of excellence, showcasing unwavering resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

Designated by the U.S. Senate through Resolution 95 in 2013, April 18th marks National Lineman Appreciation Day, a fitting occasion to recognize and celebrate the dedication and sacrifices of these unsung heroes. In Texas, the Texas Lineman's Rodeo Association (TLRA) serves as a beacon of support and solidarity for line workers, providing opportunities for education, innovation, and the promotion of electrical safety. Through events like the Texas Lineman's Rodeo, the TLRA proudly showcases the skill and pride of the high voltage linework profession, further underscoring the invaluable contributions of these remarkable individuals.
