The evening’s headliner, Dianne Reeves, is renowned for her exceptional versatility and has long been celebrated as one of the most influential female jazz vocalists of our era. Known for her dynamic range that spans anthems, scat, improvisational works, pop, and original compositions, Reeves brings a unique blend of tradition and innovation to her performances. Her deep-rooted musical heritage includes influences from jazz giants like Sarah Vaughan, with whom she shares an artistic lineage. Reeves’ musical family legacy includes her cousin George Duke, a distinguished pianist and producer, and her uncle Charles Burrell, a bass player with the Denver Symphony Orchestra.
