Houston Style Magazine's aficionados of art, society, and culinary delights were treated to an evening of enchantment at Steak 48, where the Houston Ballet's upcoming production of Cinderella took center stage. This celebration, hosted in collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton Residences, The Woodlands, transformed the second-floor private area of River Oaks District into a lively haven for over 100 culture enthusiasts.

Jim Nelson, the charismatic Executive Director of the Houston Ballet, took the spotlight, weaving tales of the contemporary rendition of Cinderella. Against the backdrop of the River Oaks District hotspot, guests were immersed in the whimsical world of the beloved fairytale, enhanced by the presence of costumed dancers who gracefully meandered through the crowd, providing a sneak peek into the performance's moody and eccentric allure.

The vibrant and diverse assembly indulged in a symphony of flavors, with sommelier-selected wines and meticulously crafted cocktails complementing a gastronomic feast that featured delights such as sliced New York strip, mushroom crostini, mini crab cakes, and tantalizing tuna poke.

Lucky attendees left with more than just memories, as a select few secured coveted tickets to the upcoming Cinderella performance and Steak 48 gift cards through an exciting raffle. However, every guest departed as a winner, receiving parting gifts in the form of Diptyque 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain candles, adding a touch of luxury to their evening.

The list of luminaries who made the night unforgettable included River Oaks District's own Diana Fisher, along with notable personalities like Jim Nelson, Jay Cross, Houston Ballet Principal Dancer Soo Youn Cho and Jonathan Shin, Leon and Jacqueline Kinloch, Adrian Duenas, Carrie Brandsberg-Dahl, Dale Volpe, Diane Sudy, Christine Snyder from Douglas Elliman, Courtney Baker, Kadriye Alcorn, Vincent Tran, Antonio Miller, and Hästens’ Bradley Belen and Jaime Gallegos.

This spectacular collaboration between Steak 48, River Oaks District, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, The Woodlands not only celebrated the arts but also showcased the seamless integration of luxury, culture, and culinary excellence. As Houston eagerly anticipates the enchanting performance of Cinderella, this soirée served as a prelude to the magic that awaits at the Houston Ballet.
