In a joint effort to combat Houston's homeless animal crisis and celebrate Love Your Pet Month and World Spay Day, Houston PetSet and District H City Council Member Mario Castillo had planned to host a transformative free Spay/Neuter and Parasite Prevention event on February 27, 2024. Regrettably, this event has been canceled.
Despite this setback, Houston PetSet remains steadfast in its mission to support companion animals and their devoted caregivers throughout the Greater Houston area. As such, stay tuned for forthcoming announcements regarding future events in District H and beyond, as we continue to advocate for the welfare of our furry friends.
"Houston PetSet extends its heartfelt appreciation to Council Member Mario Castillo for his unwavering dedication to his constituents and their beloved pets. In collaboration with District H, we remain committed to offering free and low-cost resources for pet owners through a series of community events, aligning with Love Your Pet Month and World Spay Day initiatives," remarked Tama Lundquist, co-president of Houston PetSet.
While we regret any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of this event, we invite you to explore Houston PetSet's comprehensive spay and neuter services, designed to promote responsible pet ownership and alleviate the burden of pet overpopulation in our communities.
As we navigate these challenging times, let us unite in our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of our cherished animal companions. Together, we can build a brighter future for Houston's pets.
