Camp For All, a cherished nonprofit dedicated to providing barrier-free camp experiences for nearly 9,000 individuals with challenging illnesses or special needs, is gearing up for its annual Over The Edge fundraiser and rappelling event in The Woodlands, Texas. Scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024, this exciting event is made possible through the generous partnership with Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HHH), showcasing the remarkable community spirit of Houston.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower, a 31-story office building nestled within The Woodlands® Towers at The Waterway, this year's Over The Edge promises unparalleled thrills and unforgettable moments. The event aims to raise $180,000 to support Camp For All's transformative mission.

Over the past two years, Camp For All has surpassed its fundraising goals, thanks to the unwavering support of donors and courageous rappellers who commit to raising a minimum of $1,500 to secure their spot. Families and friends are encouraged to join the festivities and cheer on the daring participants as they embark on their rappelling journey down the towering structure.

Beginning as early as 8 a.m., the first rappellers will descend from the rooftop, culminating their exhilarating journey on the expansive 11th-floor rooftop terrace, marking a 20-story descent filled with adrenaline and triumph. This year's event introduces an innovative addition: a virtual reality (VR) rappelling experience, offering participants the sensation of scaling the building's facade from the safety of solid ground. With a capacity for up to 70 participants, Camp For All is dedicated to ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all adventure enthusiasts.

"We are thrilled to welcome back our beloved Over The Edge event and our courageous rappellers," expressed Pat Prior Sorrells, President and CEO of Camp For All. "Our 'challenge by choice' philosophy remains at the heart of our mission, and we are grateful to Howard Hughes for their continued support in empowering individuals of all abilities to embrace adventure and overcome barriers."
