In a world where opportunities for our youth are crucial, Ross Stores, Inc. is once again stepping up to the plate, joining hands with Boys & Girls Clubs of America for their 10th annual in-store fundraiser, aimed at supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. From now until March 3rd, Houstonians can be a part of this noble cause by simply making a monetary contribution during checkout at their local Ross Dress for Less (“Ross”) store.
With over three million young people served annually by Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide, this partnership isn't just about donations; it's about fostering a brighter future for the next generation. Rooted in a shared commitment to nurturing productive, caring, and responsible citizens, Ross Stores and Boys & Girls Clubs aim to ignite hope and opportunity for the youth, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive in life.
Matt Young, Group Senior Vice President of Ross Stores, expressed his enthusiasm for this year's initiative, stating, "This year is special. It marks our 10th annual in-store fundraiser to benefit local Boys & Girls Clubs. The funds raised will directly help kids at Clubs nationwide by supporting Power Hour, a homework tutoring program nationally sponsored by Ross. We are proud of our strong, long-standing partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs and look forward to coming together with our customers and associates to ‘Help Local Kids Thrive.'"
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston President & CEO, Kevin Hattery, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of community empowerment and collective impact. He stated, "Our partnership with Ross Stores embodies the essence of community empowerment and collective impact. Together, we're igniting hope and opportunity for our youth, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed in life. Through initiatives like 'Help Local Kids Thrive,' we're not just shaping futures; we're building a stronger, more vibrant community for generations to come."
