On Monday, March 4, 2024, in Los Angeles, CA, Iconic R&B Singer Bobby Brown and his wife, Alicia-Etheredge-Brown were presented with an honorary doctorate in humanity from Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University. The Brown family's notable philanthropic contributions through the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House is bringing a significant impact in so many lives. The special event was held on Bobbi Kristina's birthday at the Taglyan Complex in celebration of their 4th Annual Gala as they grow advocacy from Boston, Atlanta to Los Angeles.

The Brown family was surrounded by celebrity friends, and supporters who wore a hint of purple and an elegant mask in support of their cause to bring awareness to the epidemic of domestic violence against women, children, and families. Although Bobbi Kristina Brown has passed on, her heart beats for miles within those who are touched by an organization dedicated in her honor to fight for transitional safe havens, mental health and other vital resources.

The event celebrated with a gourmet dinner/dessert, live performances a purple carpet experience and a live silent auction which was won by one of the most iconic sports figures, Mike Tyson.

Dr. Bobby Brown pens a heartfelt open letter on the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House website stating:

We seek a world without Domestic Abuse, the Bobbi Kristina’s Serenity House is that forum… our collective voices will be heard. We may not know what the future holds but we do know that it lies in the hands of our children. Thus, the decision is not whether we should invest in the future of our children, but how soon we can make the commitment.

The Bobbi Kristina’s Serenity House is committed to empowerment; regaining power within, instead of seeking approval and power from the outside sources. We intend on being the voice for the voiceless.
