The Guide to Good Divorce℠ program is proud to announce its remaining seminar schedule for 2024, with the next session on Saturday, June 22, 2024. These unique and popular seminars are crafted to support women as they navigate the complexities of divorce, providing legal, financial, and spiritual guidance for a smoother transition to a happier, healthier post-divorce life.
"Divorce is seldom easy," says Trey Yates, a seasoned Houston-based board-certified family law attorney and the founder of the program. "Yet, navigating its rocky shoals with a roadmap based on experience, knowledge, planning, and moral support can be absolutely transformational."
Holistic Support for Women
The Guide to Good Divorce seminars offer a holistic approach, giving women crucial information to make informed decisions and rebuild their lives. "Our program not only addresses the legal and financial aspects of divorce but also the personal growth and self-awareness that can come from this process," Yates explains. "We encourage attendees to build supportive communities and focus on their emotional and spiritual wellness."
Upcoming Seminars
Here is the remaining 2024 Guide to Good Divorce seminar schedule:
Saturday, June 22, 2024; 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at The Houstonian
Saturday, September 14, 2024; 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at The Houstonian
These half-day seminars feature sessions led by Yates on Texas divorce law, as well as presentations from certified divorce financial analysts, trained therapists, and other wellness professionals. Since the program's inception in 2011, over 600 women have participated in the quarterly workshops.
Building Strength and Confidence
"We introduced our seminars in 2011 and have had great success reaching many women who find themselves at this difficult crossroads," Yates reflects. "I have witnessed our attendees draw strength, comfort, and self-confidence from our seminars and from each other as they tackle the many challenges of divorce."
With his extensive experience practicing family law in the greater Houston metropolitan area since 1986, Yates recognized the need for additional support beyond legal services for his female clients. This realization led to the creation of the Guide to Good Divorce seminars.
Expert Guidance and Community Support
The Guide to Good Divorce℠ program is designed to help women successfully navigate all stages of the divorce process and move toward a healthier, happier life post-divorce. The educational program and seminars, created by Trey Yates, provide information and guidance from uniquely qualified experts on Texas divorce law (including special considerations for special needs), divorce financial planning, life skills, and achieving physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. The program also offers opportunities for women facing divorce to network and connect with each other for support.
